Orange County Virginia Animal Shelter

The Orange County Animal Shelter provides safe haven and vet care for hundreds of animals of all ages and descriptions each year. Although we are a small shelter, we do our best to find loving homes for them all. When funds are available, we offer spay/neuter certificates that help pay for spaying and neutering your pets. Happily, we have had great success promoting our animals on Petfinder, and dozens of animals have been adopted by people who have come as far away as Maryland. We have also gotten volunteers who live in the Northern Virginia/Maryland areas who will drive down to the Orange shelter and take our animals to adoption fairs in Northern Virginia, Stafford and all points in between. Although we are about 1.5 hours away from the Washington, D.C. metro area, it is an easy drive. You can even make a day of it and stop off at country stores, Civil War battlefield sites and a huge mall complex in Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg.
