Chief’s Message

The Orland Volunteer Fire Department has continued serving our community for 103 years and counting. Our department is made up of approximately 50 volunteer firefighters who train several times a month to learn skills pertinent to make sure they know their jobs to provide a professional service and return home safely to their family and loved ones.

The department provides a wide array of services including, but not limited to: emergency medical services, fire protection and public services.
Our volunteers are also very active in our community; they provide high school football medical standby, fire truck rides for different school events, National Night Out, firehouse tours to the elementary youth & education of fire department functions and safety to the preschool youth.

We conduct two fundraisers a year that include a spaghetti feed held the 1st Saturday in February and our Annual Fireman's Ball, held on the Saturday closest to St. Patrick's Day in March.

In closing, our members take great pride in serving our community. It is through training, honesty, integrity and professionalism that we continue to do this and we would like to thank all of the Orland community for its continued support of the Orland Volunteer Fire Department.
