Originally founded in 1987 as the Athenaeum at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at RIT is a membership–led organization that stimulates minds and forges friendships among people age 50+ who live in Greater Rochester.
Our days are filled with classes, discussions, talks, social events, and travel—but never exams.
Offerings span a wide range of topics, including the arts, literature, science, history, and government.
