The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center is a nature sanctuary dedicated to further knowledge of the flora and fauna of South Texas and to safeguard a piece of our coastal ecosystem.
The Preserve has approximately 2 miles of hiking trails and several unique wildlife viewing overlooks throughout the preserve and in a variety of habitats.
The Learning Center houses an exhibit hall showcasing natural wonders of our region, plus a multipurpose room where classes are held and speakers share their wisdom.
Hours of operation for our Learning Center are Monday through Saturday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Learning Center parking lot is open on those days from 7:30am to 7:00pm. Parking is available on North Oso Parkway after 7pm.
Trails are open from dawn to dusk.
