Otter Chalet

The Otter Chalet was originally built by Steve Hall, our current caretaker and rental agent. In Fall of 2009, the Lavery family of Hershey, PA purchased this beautiful piece of land. After several improvements, the Otter Chalet was reopenned with new furniture, a finished basement, an additional bathroom, kayaks and a canoe, an improved dock, and more. We invite you to come and enjoy our our beautiful and peaceful land and the Adirondack Mountains.

"A waterfront chalet on the edge of the 50 acre Adirondack Wildlife Refuge, Otter Chalet has 2 large bedrooms, 3 full baths, a sleeping dorm with 3 thick and comfortable queen-sized futons and 40" HDTV Satellite TV, a sleeping loft with the same comfortable queen futon, a 42" HDTV Flat Screen TV in the family room, and great views of Whiteface Mountain and the Ausable River.

At Otter Chalet, the kids can safely camp outside, and draw their sleeping bags up to a roaring campfire, or camp inside in the dorm room, where they can play the Chalet's air hockey game, or watch Satellite TV. Log Cabin Wet Sauna, hot tub, satellite TV, DVD, VCR, stereo, high-speed wireless internet, microwave, barbecue, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and linens will help make Otter Chalet a convenient and hassle free vacation. Otter Chalet has its own canoe and kayak for use on the river and Lake Everest."
