Our Church

Please take a moment to read and understand our goals. We are sincere in our efforts and welcome all to help us achieve this 'first of its kind' project. Any donation is appreciated.
Our Church was founded in 1994 in Amsterdam by Sam Wayne Smith and others. Its purpose was to produce, distribute and consume cannabis for spiritual practices. This included making cannabis available for medical use. The original group known as Our Church has spread out as the members have pursued paths in different places, times and ways. Sam's efforts over the last twenty years have cleared the way and opened the doors to bring us to this special point in time. His vision is now becoming reality.
In the shadow of the Cascade mountains Our Church has begun a ground breaking project to create a nonprofit growing, processing, and retail marijuana cooperative. Plans include the development of a world class resort and healing spa utilizing the latest cannabis research from our international supporting members. We have already seen interest in the spa as a destination from our friends around the world.
The operation is structured along the lines of the traditional "farmer's co-op". Our members donate either money, time or physical resources and in return receive a proportional part of the output of the co-op. Our members understand that the purpose of Our Church is to help others through cannabis and we will fulfill this by providing healing products and services to others.
As part of our goal of helping others we will be creating internships for the women of the Yakima tribe to learn the trade and provide employment opportunities. Also, extra resources after business expenses will be distributed to the elderly and sick on the Yakima reservation. The only limit on our success is the limits we put upon ourselves.
