Our Mother of Good Counsel School

Our Mother of Good Counsel School is a unique school that blends many cultures together in a harmonious unit. You are able to see this blend not only within the student body but also within the faculty. The school has been in the Los Feliz neighborhood for 80 years and has an outstanding reputation of providing an excellent education to its students. The majority of its students not only go on to highly academic high schools but also graduate from top universities and colleges throughout the United States.

OMGC School has a highly involved student body and group of parents who help in the numerous activities which take place each month. The school ensures that a strong Catholic identity is maintained through the various religious activities which occur daily and monthly at the school. It helps students to develop a sense of belonging and a sense of Christian responsibility to the greater community.

The faculty and administration feel it is important to build community among the school groups to develop camaraderie and a feeling of belonging. Many of the students inform their parents that they do not want to be absent from school because they don’t want to miss any exciting activities.
