In 1954 a mission was formulated in the Pine Hills community of Orlando to serve the families which surround the steeple.
For over 50 years Our Savior has provided to the best of its ability a sound Christian foundation for our children to grow on. Yet times have changed and our children are faced with a much more complex and highly technical society. They are bombarded with ideologies and societal influences that can hinder their growth potential spiritually, mentally and physically. At our Savior as in many urban congregations our youth come from impoverish homes with 9 to 10 children. Instead of life's episodes being filled with peace And joy, it becomes a struggle for survival the newspapers of Orlando are indented Dailey with the derivative of these survival stories were our youth have followed the images of street life., resulting in death, imprisonment ,or impoverishment.
Current our savior operates an afterschool mentoring ministry which has received wide recognition, With the coming of Pastor Cobb the church has intimated Reaching Beyond The Break as an initiative that address the social cognitive development of each child.
