Our Saviour's Lutheran Church

Our Saviour's Lutheran Church rose out of Norwegian roots. Determined to be faithful in worship and strong in fellowship and service, we have maintained meaningful customs of years gone by. Descendants of other nations have been willingly received and made a part of our family. Today, 60 percent claim a German heritage, 30 percent Norwegian and Dane, & 10 percent other heritage.

We are a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the East-Central Synod of Wisconsin. Our baptized membership as of 12/31/2010 is 1,250.

We are served by Intentional Interim Pastor John Czarnota and Youth and Family Ministries Director Jamie Diestelhorst.

Worship Schedule:
September to May
Saturday at 4:30 pm
Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30 am
Christian Education Hour at 9:15 am (ages 4 years to adult)

June to August
Saturday at 4:30 pm
Sunday at 9:00 am

Holy Communion
Holy Communion is served at all Sunday worship services on the first and third Saturdays of every month, as well as other church festivals. We believe that in the bread and wine, Jesus' body and blood is given for all people for the forgiveness of sins. At Christ's invitation, you are welcome to the Lord's table.
First communion classes are offered for children in fifth grade as part of our confirmation program. However, several classes are offered throughout the year for children wishing to participate in Holy Communion at a younger age.

Our Study of the Word
There are many and varied opportunities to strengthen your faith through study. Most sessions run from September through May. Please consult the monthly calendar for current times.

Monday Night Bible Study - Led by Shirley Mitchell at 7:00 pm

Lutheran Men in Mission - Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 7:00 am at Skipper's Restaurant. We discuss the Sunday texts.

Discipleship Group - Meets Wednesday at 7:30 pm. We focus on down-to-earth ways of living a life of daily devotion, prayer, and obedience.

Adult Forum - Meets Sunday mornings at 9:15 am.
