Out Front Theatre Company

Out Front Theatre Company was established to tell stories of the LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intergender, Allied) experience and community, giving voice to LGBTQIA authors, composers, artists, and creators through the medium of theatre and the performing arts. Out Front plans to develop new works and produce classic pieces of theatre that have communicated these stories of the LGBTQIA population to a wider audience over time.

Out Front Theatre Company will present its premiere season beginning in October 2016 with the Georgia Premiere of the smash Tony Award winning Broadway musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical (Oct. 20 – Nov. 6, 2016.) Based on the iconic film of the same name, the musical features classic songs like “I Will Survive,” “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” and “It’s Raining Men” among countless other hits. Also included as part of the maiden season will be the Southeastern Premiere of A Kid Like Jake (Feb. 9 – 26, 2017) by Daniel Pearle and Paul Rudnick’s hilarious classic The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told (Apr. 27 – May 14, 2017). Additional events will be announced at a later date.
