Laura Rohrsen and Teresa Talbott are experienced and skilled speech language therapists who offer a diverse range of therapies to help children improve their social communication, language and articulation skills. They offer fun and engaging activities that keep the kids excited about learning and wanting to come back for more.

As trained speech therapists with years of experience in the public school system helping kids on the autism spectrum, our approach acknowledges and respects each individual child, appreciating their uniqueness, gifts, and challenges. We are accustomed to tailoring programs to fit each child. We use positive encouragement to bring out their best so that they feel valued and appreciated. We are also knowledgeable about sensory issues and can appropriately address those issues as they arise with an appropriate sensory diet/ activities.
We are accustomed to working with families as team members and will seek out background information on each camper to be prepared with research based techniques and solutions for each camper. Families know their child best and we value families sharing about their child.

Teresa Talbott is California licensed speech pathologist and holds a national certification from ASHA. She has won three grants for green screen equipment in public schools and currently is teaching other SLP's how to utilize this technology in their language and social skills services. She has successfully produced hundreds of green screen videos for her students. One video was used by her school as critical evidence for the "Schools to Watch" special designation and shown to the state commissioner of education. She also holds an undergraduate degree in theatre arts and has attended numerous theatre workshops.
Laura Rohrsen is licensed and has an MA in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She has worked in the California public school system as a therapist and consultant for 35 years. She did a one-year mentorship for her district in "Classroom Modifications" and was awarded district "Teacher of the Year" in 2002 as well as Wells Fargo Teacher of the Year which awarded a grant that was used to purchase a video camera for her program. She has run social skill groups for autism spectrum students at the elementary and intermediate school levels.
