Owen County Montessori - opening fall 2015

We are a non-profit, independent Montessori school. Our inaugural year we will have a certified Montessori teacher and a classroom of 3-6 year olds, with limited enrollment. Our goal is to nurture the whole child through their unique journey of attaining core knowledge while nurturing their social, physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. This transformational approach to education integrates academics, art and ethics into experiential learning. Our classroom environment will offer a warm and inviting atmosphere where a child’s sense of belonging, identity and security are paramount. The Montessori method has been proven to create enthusiastic learners, who are self propelled, critical thinkers with well developed social skills and a sense of responsibility to the greater community.
