Pacifica Archery is owned and operated by Joseph and Beth Snell. Joe has been an avid archer since his early teens. He used to take the Muni bus from his house at Potrero district to Golden Gate Park to shoot his fiberglass bow. Joe decided to open Pacifica Archery after being frustrated at not having a quality archery store in the local vicinity. They opened their doors in the late 1998 in Pacifica; hence the store name.

They moved to their present Daly City location in December 2004.
