Welcome to Ichetucknee Springs, Florida's Natural Lazy River!

Discover the crystal-clear waters of one of Florida’s best rivers for tubing and paddling at Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Fed by nine springs, the Ichetucknee River lets visitors experience the natural beauty of its blue-green waterways year-round.

Let the gentle current of the bright turquoise river guide you on a relaxing retreat through shaded hammocks and forests of cypress, maple, oak and pine. Experience the splendor of nature from the clear waters below to the wildlife and flora along the shore. See turtles, otters, deer, birds of prey, wading birds, fish and maybe even manatees and beavers.

Rent tubes, rafts, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and canoes at the only outfitter located within Ichetucknee Springs State Park, in Fort White, Fl.

Tubing and Paddling Adventures are offered year-round:
-Tube or raft from South Entrance launch points throughout the year. Trams at South Entrance run weekends through Oct. 29. From Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, tube from the North Entrance.
-Two trip experiences are available for those kayaking or paddling, two to six hour experiences.

Begin your tubing adventure at the South Entrance with one of three experiences:
-Midpoint Tube Launch: connect with nature as you float along bright turquoise waters. This launch offers a 45-minute to one-hour trip to Dampier's Landing or continue an additional hour to the Tube Take-Out Point. Park at South Entrance.
-Dampier's Landing: Drift below a canopy of trees as the grasses below sway in the gentle current of the River. Located at the South Entrance, Dampier's Landing offers a one-hour journey down the river to Tube Take-Out Point.
-Summer Adventure (Available Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend Only): Spend three and a half hours tubing 3.5 miles from the north launch to the Tube Take-Out Point. Park at South Entrance for in-park shuttle service to the starting point at North Entrance. The perfect way to escape the summer heat.

Labor Day through Oct. 31 from 8 am to 4 pm on weekends and holidays only.
Nov. 1-March 31: Tram service is closed during the winter season
April 1 through Memorial Day from 8 am to 4 pm weekends and holidays only.
Memorial Day through Labor Day from 8 am to 5:30 pm daily

Paddling Adventures: Two trip experiences are available from the Ichetucknee Springs State Park North Entrance.
-Paddle Ichetucknee: 3.5 mile Experience (2 hours)
Beginning near the head spring, discover the splendor of nature paddling the Ichetucknee River. Transportation provided at Take-Out Point by bus or van back to North Entrance.
-Extended Rivers Paddle: 9 mile Experience (4-6 hours)
Designed for the experienced kayaker, enjoy an extended trip along the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe Rivers. Paddle 9 miles to the William Guy Lemmon Park (U.S. Highway 129 bridge). Offered seasonally. Includes return transportation to the park's North Entrance. Call for availability: 386-497-1113.

North Entrance Shuttle Service Transportation for Paddling Adventures only:
Memorial Day through Labor Day from 8 am to 5:30 pm.
Labor Day through to Memorial Day from 11 am to 4:30 pm daily
Rental price includes transportation back to the North Entrance parking lot, paddles and life jacket for canoe and kayak rentals only

Ichetucknee Springs State Park is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to sundown. In-park, canoe, kayak and paddle board rentals are available from 8 am to 2:30 pm and tube rentals are available from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
