Paint Along with Great Artists

Paint Along with Great Artists is a travel coordination service for plein air painters by Montana-Paint. Owned and run by artist Joanna McCoy, the mission of Montana Paint is to find great locations for plein air artists and provide the opportunity to rub elbows with some of the best plein air painters in America.

We do not do workshops! Instead, we arrange for a nationally known professional artist to be featured for each trip. We negotiate fabulous prices for lodging and sometimes, even meals. This allows artists to travel to great locations and paint all day. The featured artist will lead critiques once each day at a designated time and place.

What do you get from this? You get the opportunity to meet professional artists and make new friends. You can even paint alongside the pro.

Although not a workshop, if you are familiar with your medium and want to paint outside, this is your chance!

Great painting experiences, wonderful people and tons of fun in unique geographical venues are yours to have.

We limit the size of the group to make the experience more intimate. However, we are often able to include spouses and other non-painting companions.

We take care of the little details to make your painting experience as productive as possible.
