Palm Chapel Primitive Baptist Church

At Palm Chapel we believe the church's mission is twofold: to glorify God and edify one another. This mission follows Christ's teaching in Matthew 22:37-39 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Additionally, we hold dearly to the word of God as it is translated in the 1611 King James Version. We believe as Paul told the young minister Timothy in 1 Timothy 3:16, that " All scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." We hold the pages of God's word to be our only rule of faith and practice, and pray that the Lord blesses us to rightly divide that word of truth.

Our worship service is very simple and is centered around God and not man. Our song service consists of A Capella singing, prayer, and preaching, just the way it was in the early church. Our families worship together, where father, mother, son, and daughter sing, pray, and learn as a family, together.

Most importantly, we serve a great God at Palm Chapel. The God of Isaiah 40 "Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance."
