Palms Estates of Highlands County

This is retirement living at its BEST! The Palms Estates of Highland County is a 55+ Christian community on the shores of beautiful Lake Istokpoga.

We are located in Lorida, about 15 miles southeast of Sebring, the county seat of Highlands County in central Florida.

We are a comfortable drive to either coast, Disney attractions, Epcot, Sea World and other places of interest. Nearby cattle ranches and citrus groves promote the "quiet life".

Recreational opportunities abound: fishing, swimming, biking, hiking, shuffleboard, crafts, wood shop, walking, horseshoes! We are within 5 miles of world-class golf courses. The local arts community is very active; South Florida State College offers continuing education; the Highlands Little Theatre offers outstanding productions and SFSC has a winter concert series.

Planned activities during "season" and year-round activities include Wednesday Coffee Hour, Carry-In meals, Hog Roast, Fish Fry, Mardi Gras to name a few. Life is good here!
