Palo Alto Chinese School 柏拉阿圖中文學校

Founded in 1963, Palo Alto Chinese School (PACS) is a Chinese language school based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a long and proud history of Chinese education. PACS is currently offering Mandarin and Cantonese classes from kindergarten to 12th grade.

In order to satisfy increasing demand for children that do not speak Chinese at home, PACS also started offering Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) classes in 2007.
Mandarin, Cantonese and CSL classes meet every Friday from 7:00PM to 9:00PM.

If you are interested in Chinese culture, the calligraphy class offered by PACS would be a good choice for you. Introduced in 2005, the Chinese calligraphy class is hosted by well known calligrapher Mr. Chen-Lei Huang. There are two classes, meeting at 6:00PM and 7:10PM respectively, every Friday.

A new program called "Introduction to Mandarin Class" (IMC) was debuting January 23, 2009. IMC is specifically designed for pre-school children who are interested in learning Chinese. The program presents a casual environment full of activities to make learning Chinese fun for young children aged 4 to 6. IMC class is offered Fridays, 7:15PM to 8:45PM.
