Pamlico County Heritage Center

The Heritage Center encompasses a museum, visitor center, and heritage village around a theme of farming, fishing, and forestry, which are the three economic bases of Pamlico County. It ensures the preservation of some of the history of people whose lives were molded by rich soils, abundant forests, and numerous waterways.
