Papa Coot has been conjuring up recipes for many years but one sauce recipe started with a scribbled note stuck behind the kitchen door frame in his Uncle's old house that was scheduled for demolition. Taking this 75 year old recipe and adding his own special touches - one of "Papa Coot's Sauces" was born.
When Kyndall Nikole, his granddaughter, entered his life, her habit of covering all her food with ketchup changed to covering all her food with "Papa Coot's Sauce". Coot had quite a job of keeping up production for Kyndall as as his other fans. In 2004, when a tragic accident took Kyndall's life, the decision was reached to contribute a portion of all profits to The Children's Miracle Network in her memory.
Two sauces have received awards in Local Pig Jig and also International competition through the American Royal Judging in Kansas City. It is Coot's sincere desire that "Papa Coot" will become a favorite with your family and friends.
