ParrotOx Glass

ParrotOx Glass is what my family and I have decided to call ourselves. We consist of a 26-year-old Longshoreman; a 27-year-old Chemist; a 26-year-old Lawn Sprinkler Man (Owner); and me a 23-year-old artist fresh out of college, all with big dreams.
One day my brother Joel discovered a YouTube channel called "Revere Glass". If you've never herd of them, they are awesome and you should look them up! They have changed our lives and we appreciate what they are doing. One day we hope to meet them and thank them for their dedication of sharing the art of Lampworking with the world.
As I was saying, ever since approximately a year ago Joel decided to go forth and invest in a studio in hopes of one day turning that into a shop/ school/ gallery. It also is my dream to be an artist and sell my art whether it be paintings on canvas, paintings on refinished furniture, or glass, etc... I just love to make art!
We are developing slowly as we try to teach each other and ourselves through mainly our own experience and help from research. For example: videos, and books. We also have taken two classes at Carlisle School of Glass with instructor Jordan Smith of SandSmith Glass. Thank you Jordan! In the mean time we are juggling our lives and jobs but one day Glass will be our lives.
The idea for having social media sites so early in the game is so we can record our progress and show our growth from the beginning. We hope you enjoy our art as you watch us grow, learn, and develop right before your computer screens.
