Pasfield Golf Course

Pasfield Golf Course, a 9-hole public golf facility, has been part of the Springfield golf scene since 1898! At that time however, it was known as “The Springfield Golf Club” which was founded by a group of prominent local businessmen. In 1907, the founding members of The Springfield Golf Club moved south a couple blocks and formed Illini Country Club. The course remained dormant until the early 1930’s. At that time, the Springfield Park District took control of the property and reopened it under the name of Pasfield Golf Course. Since then, Pasfield Golf Course has been a landmark in the Springfield community not only for its customer service and affordable public golf, but for its sledding hills as well!
