The Pat The Roc Basketball Skills Academy is a brand new basketball training facility located in Rockville, Maryland. Founder, Pat The Roc, is known globally as one of the greatest trainers to teach game. His experience with some of the top NBA players/teams and college programs led him to open a facility that would give the next generation of hoopers the edge needed to perform at the next level. Private Training
One-on-one training allows Coach Pat to direct all of his attention and basketball knowledge into breaking down and assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a player. Coach Pat delivers an abundance of creative drills designed at strengthening those weaknesses and perfecting those strengths. After each session Coach Pat will give an assessment on the player’s skill level. One-on-one sessions are a great way to ensure your workout is customized, efficient and effective. Group Training
Group training sessions consist of a total game tune-up focusing on ball handling, game moves, shooting, conditioning, footwork, and more. The group session atmosphere allows each player to develop and compete in a high level environment. These sessions help improve your agility, athleticism, and endurance. Group training sessions are held daily at the Pat The Roc Basketball Skills Academy. Sessions will be purchased in hourly blocks. The more hours you purchase, the better price per hour you will receive!

Clinics
Our clinic sessions allow players to experience high level training with other elite competition. Each clinic focuses on developing and strengthening fundamentals, while introducing new skills to players. Clinics are designed for players to take the lessons and skills they learn home for further repetition and practice. Our sessions run on the weekends, holidays and summer breaks. One month package must be paid in full on the first Saturday of each month. Packages do not roll over and expires on the last clinic session of the month.

Team Training
Team training sessions are a great way to prepare your team for the season. Whether high school, middle school, elementary, or AAU, these sessions will give your team a taste of the work it takes to advance to the next level as a team. Each player will strengthen their fundamentals while developing advanced skills. This combination will contribute to a high performing team. Team training sessions are one hour and available upon request.

Shooting Machine Workouts
Our shooting machine workouts help players to develop confidence in shooting the basketball in games. Each shooting sessions allows players the opportunity to get up a maximum amount of shots in little time. Adding a private shooting session to the end of a one-on-one workout is a great way to close your session. Shooting sessions are available upon request. VertiMax Workouts
From the professional NBA basketball player to the AAU level, no training system will do more to increase the vertical jump and first step quickness while maximizing a basketball player's abilities to dominate the court. Our VertiMax will take your jumping ability, offensive and defensive mobility to the highest levels! VertiMax is currently being used by the NFL, NBA, Division I colleges and hundreds of high schools across the country. Adding a private VertiMax workout to the end of a one-on-one workout is a great way to close your session. Basketball Business- Athletic Recruitment
If you are a parent who is raising a successful student-athlete you have probably been thinking of ways to get your child noticed by coaches and scouts. You may be a player who is looking to market yourself on and off the court. We provide sessions that allow parents and players to learn about the business of basketball and how to get exposure. We will have guest speakers including experienced coaches, NBA players, other professional trainers, and more.

Session Fees:
One (1) Session: $40

Complete Player Highlight Reel
Are you interested in getting recruited to play basketball? If so the individual player highlight reel package is just for you! Using video from a one-on-one session with Coach Pat, our team of film editors will build you a highlight reel coaches want to see. You only have one shot at a first impression. This package includes a one hour training session, a player’s bio and stats, and an edited highlight reel. We will collaborate your best performances into a 2-3 minute highlight reel as well as post the reel on our website for coaches to view. We have experience filming individual players and know what to focus on to best promote the individual player. Highlight reels will be sent in digital format. Birthday Parties
Want to celebrate your birthday in style? Celebrate your next birthday party at the Pat The Roc Basketball Skills Academy! You bring your friends and we’ll provide the party! Our state of the art facility creates a fun and safe environment. The birthday boy or girl can choose one or more games to play with their guests for one hour on the court followed by 30 minutes in the party room. We offer two party packages as well as ad-on options. Contact us to book your next party!
