PatCon, LLC

In early 2014, after thirty years of experience in the production chemical business, Jodie Henson decided he wanted to start his own chemical company. Jodie recruited his sons, Jason and Jonathan, and set the course to achieve his goal. Prior to his decision, Jodie worked for Tretolite, Champion, and Multi-Chem, all major companies that contributed to his comprehensive knowledge of the business. Jodie has been blessed to work in virtually every area of the United States and Canada where oil and natural gas are produced but desired to start his new company in the area where he spent the majority of his career — Texas, Oklahoma Panhandle, and southwest Kansas. PatCon, a small chemical company in Perryton, TX, has provided those areas production chemicals and flow back services since 1989, making it an obvious acquisition for Jodie’s business endeavor. Knowing a strategic plan was integral to their success in becoming a premier chemical provider, PatCon, LLC first partnered with InfoTrac in providing HazMat response. InfoTrac also was contracted to prepare all SDS’s for the required changes to HazMat providers in 2015. Second, Foley Carriers was added as provider of all DOT qualifications (drug testing, background checks, etc.) to satisfy specified requirements regarding transportation of HazMat products to the customer. The third component increased the product line, growing the original fourteen products to 53 within the first two months. All lines of production chemicals (corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, paraffin products, demulsifiers, surfactants, H2S Scavengers, acid additives, water treatment products and soap sticks) are available and warehoused at the Perryton facility. PatCon, LLC now has the additional capabilities to produce water analysis, bacteria cultures, demulsification, solid analysis and paraffin testing. We try and maintain a 5 to 7 business day turn around on all lab work for our customers. Additionally, PatCon, LLC registered with both ISNetworld and PEC Safety to ensure compliance with all requirements for current and future customers. As President and CEO, Jodie sought to develop a Production Chemical Company that prides itself as a leader in the region, offering optimal quality control and superior products. PatCon, LLC has more than tripled its employees in the first six months.
