I stumbled into my real estate career as a result of a tragedy in my life. When I was 29 years old, my husband and the father of my children died of a massive heart attack at work. He was a Federal Reserve Bank Examiner and died in another state in the midst of a fraud investigation. Needless to say, my world turned upside down. When the dust settled and reality set in I knew that even with the survivor income I would no longer be able to be a stay at home mom to our three small children. And out of those ugly ashes arose a beautiful career in real estate. It has been such a blessing for me to be able to help people and support my family while still having the flexibility to be there for my children when they need me for almost twenty years now.
