After misplacing my Cherokee Trail of Tears beans for 6 years, I found the seed in storage! I planted about a half a coffee can of it this year, not expecting many to germinate. I got almost a 100% germination rate! Starting small this year, will sell a few beans, some dried wild plants, and some seed. Next year I want to plant an acre of them on land i own in Roxbury, Vermont. I want an income, I want to feed my family, I want to donate to the food shelves in Roxbury, Northfield, and the Mad River Valley. They helped me from time to time, now I will be able to help them too.
i also am planting blueberry plants in Roxbury for an income. I have over 100 and am cultivating more. We hope to start planting in early September.
