Pau Hana Kava Cafe

Pau Hana Kava Cafe strives to support the local community as well as the international traveler by providing a creative & productive environment condusive to enhancing the safe & imperative restoration of Wailuku.

Pau Hana Kava Cafe is a kava bar/coffee shop environment. We are creating a comfortable, soothing ambiance for the customer to “just be” , specifically at nighttime. The outdoor zen garden is located underneath a big beautiful banyon tree surrounded by large mango, avocado, papaya, banana, & citrus trees already on site. We have built a large gazebo out of mostly recycled palettes for product distribution including a kavabar. We plan to build a koi fish pond, set up a few bonfire pits, and have relaxing swings, hammocks, and couches. The menu will consist of drinks & pupus that will all be local and bought wholesale from other small businesses in our community to support the local economy. It is a space where the international traveler will meet the locals. There will be a gift shop with local handmade beachwear & art. We will provide nightly live music and weekly/monthly events.
