Paws for Autism was created to assist children with Autism Spectrum Disorders connect with their peers and their communities. To accomplish this, we have created a series of programs. These programs cover specific needs including the partial funding of autism service dogs, training of teachers and staff in the child’s school, and the incorporation of trained social workers with service dogs as an added service to schools that qualify for additional social skills integration. We are in the process of developing a breeding and training program as the demand for autism service dogs is increasing exponentially.
We continue to develop ideas into new programs.
