Paws & Claws Adopt-A-Thon

History was made last year as 186 animals found their forever homes during the two day Paws & Claws Adopt-a-thon. “This year the event will move to Hometown Hero’s Park allowing for many more animals to be shown so I expect to make history again” said Monica Millican, President of Friends of League City Animal Shelter. Several area animal shelters and several rescue groups are once again joining forces for the Third Annual Paws and Claws ADOPT-A-THON August 29th & 30th from 9AM-4PM. The event is held in air conditioned comfort. In addition to hundreds of adoptable pets there will be plenty of food, fun, entertainment, pet information, games, and more. Deeply discounted services are available for your personal pets like $ 20 micro chipping and $13 rabies vaccination. The League City Police K-9 unit will be doing demonstrations. New events are still being added. We are currently enrolling local businesses to become recognized supporters, gathering items for raffle baskets, and attracting volunteers.
