Humane Society of Summit County’s Facebook page is designed to communicate HSSC's mission to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned and neglected animals and place them in forever homes through adoption. We appreciate community support and encourage open discussion; however we reserve the right to remove posts or links at our sole discretion. Posts and comments that are not in accordance with our social media policy will be deleted.

These include, but are not limited to Posts/Comments
~ that contain profanity or foul language
~ that promote products or services from organizations to which HSSC is not affiliated (This includes organizations we've partnered with on special projects and/or promotions)
~ that are considered spam or are off-topic
~ to rescue animals that do not meet our mission
~ to rehome animals not at the HSSC
~ that are repetitive
~ that promote violence, illegal or questionable activities
~that provide misinformation
~ that are abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or harassing
