Pawsitive. Dog Training

Beginner Obedience Class:
The class is an 6 week program.
Does your dog misbehave when excited? Won't settle down when you have guest? Pulls on the leash when out for a walk? This class will have your dog focusing on you, learning to heel on a loose leash, coming when called, sit, down, stay and stand for exam. Each dog is different, and we work with each individual in away that leads to reshaping of their dogs behaviors. By the end of this 6 week course you and your dog will learn these basic commands and your dog will become a canine good citizen.

Intermediate Obedience Class:
This is an 6 week program.
Dogs and handlers are prepared for more advance work based on their needs and ability level. Our goal is to have your dog performing off leash: Heeling, recall, long sits and down in and out of your site, returning to heel position, also hand signals. We will help you achieve your goals in the competition ring. Many handlers continue on in these classes even if they do not compete, simply because they and their dog are having fun and expanding their training skills.

After our 8 week Obedience training classes we give the following: AKC Canine Good Citizen Test or the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Test

Therapy Class:
This is a 4 week program.
Does your dog love to be around people in a calm loving manner?
Listen to your commands (heel, sit, down, come and stay)?
Then this class is for you.
A Therapy Team can go on visits/help by sharing to the person in: hospice, nurses , doctors, kids in school, the library to name a few.
This is a 4 week program.


Fun Nosework for Dogs:
This is a 6 week program.
No matter what your training level or goal - from pets to working dog - you can start having FUN with your dog right away.
