Pecan Grove Baptist Church, Gatesville, TX

Located about ten miles east of Gatesville on Farm-to-Market 107 at Coryell Creek, Pecan Grave Baptist Church has been serving the area for 135 years. The current church building was built in 1929 and has undergone several additions and changes since then. In the past few years, the church has been (retro) restored to the way the church looked 40 some-odd years ago. With the newly established George and Mary Dayton Church Preservation Fund, the church and grounds had some much needed work done, mainly to help prevent flooding from Coryell Creek that tends to happen every 5 years or so.

Please note that this is indeed a church and not a venue. Rules, policies and procedures have been voted on and approved for use of our beloved Historic Church and Grounds. For more information, please contact our pastor, Jeff Huckaby, at the phone number listed for more information.
