Peckerwood Insider’s Tours are held at 10 a.m. the first Saturday each month. Admission $15, members free

Open Days take place the fourth Saturday of each month 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. includes our Plant Sale. Admission is $10 per person on Open Days, members free.

Evening at Peckerwood Garden lectures. The 5 p.m. lectures will be held on the third Saturday of each month. Admission $10, $5 for members. Watch for tours ($10) before select lectures or special pop-up lecture events.

Peckerwood Garden is open to Scheduled private tours and on scheduled tour and event days, guided tours only. Private tours can be scheduled most days and are $150 minimum, $15 per person. Lunch in the garden can be arranged by appointment

Volunteers are welcome to lend a hand with garden work 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays. Please sign up online.

Peckerwood Garden lies about 50 minutes from downtown Houston and 2 hours from Austin just south of Highway 290 (see map below). Peckerwood is celebrating its new role as a public garden in part by scheduling additional events and strengthening ties with horticultural groups and institutions across the country. Peckerwood staff and volunteers invite you to discover what all the fuss is about by touring the garden and enjoying newly scheduled evening lectures. Horticulturist Adam Black will introduce you to Peckerwood’s treasured plant collections, fill you in on how he’s adding more exciting specimens and share inspiring stories of this magical garden.
