Penobscot Valley Audubon

The Penobscot Valley Chapter offers programs and field trips throughout the year at low cost or no cost to Audubon members. It sponsors conservation and wildlife scholarships in eastern Maine. It advocates and educates on wildlife conservation issues.

Many programs are held at Fields Pond and are jointly sponsored with the Center. The Chapter also hosts occasional programs at the Sea Dog Restaurant in Bangor, featuring experts on topics such as whales, bears, bats and butterflies. The May bird walks (and others periodically planned outings) are organized by the Chapter and some of these are jointly sponsored with Bangor and Orono Land Trusts.
