Pentecostal Church of Christ

The Mission of Pentecostal Church of Christ is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to declare Him as the one and only true God. This message is ministered through biblical teaching, preaching and outreach. Leadership is taught and trained to grow spiritually and develop their gifts and talents as part of the process for transforming Pentecostal Church of Christ into a ministry that meets the emotional and spiritual needs of it’s congregants and the community we serve. Our emphasis is on preaching and teaching scripture, for it is the Word of God that sustains us and it is “a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path” (Psalm 119:105), providing an opportunity for all who will hear to have a more abundant life. Because we firmly believe that the effectual, fervent prayers of the people of God impact the lives of our community in miraculous ways (James 5:16), we are committed to scheduled times of corporate prayer and encouraging a consistent lifestyle of prayer. We value worship for we reverence and adore God simply for who He is; therefore, weekly corporate worship is planned with all attendees in mind. Because giving is related to our worship, we give our tithes and offerings for the support of the ministry and our community (Malachi 3:10). Excellence is also significant to the worship experience, and we are purposeful in our practice of excellence and look for ways to display it as often as we can (I Corinthians 14:40). Finally, but certainly not least, family is important to the life of both the church and the community. Family is the foundation of who we are and it is the survival of both church and community. We will minister to families, teaching parents and children alike the significance of remaining a cohesive unit (Joshua 24:15). Our intended outcome is to address the needs of those we encounter, showing them the love of Jesus Christ.
