Perky’s Bistro (formally Perky’s Café) is pleased to announce Chef Timothy Barbrey is IN THE HOUSE!

We will be offering new hours and new cuisine. Our menu, which will be changing weekly, will be featuring American cuisine with French technique for your casual fine dining experience.

Chef Tim will also be featuring items like Sautéed Marinated Escargot in a Red Wine Broth Reduction, Pan Seared Tilapia Topped with Tomato Basil Vinaigrette, Aged Black Angus Tenderloin Filet Topped with Caramelized Onions in a Red Wine and Beef Reduction Broth, Peppered Crusted Ahi Tuna Served Rare in a Soy Ginger Glaze, Flash Fried Oysters with Cocktail sauce and a Horseradish Aioli, Penne Pasta in a Parmesan Cream Broth Topped with Marinated Chicken Breast and much more.
The new hours for Perky’s Bistro will be:

7am – 11am for breakfast AND our famous coffee and smoothies,
11am – 2:30pm for lunch, Monday – Saturday
5:30pm – 9pm for dinner on Tuesday through Thursday
5:30pm - 10pm for dinner Friday and Saturday

Chef Timothy Barbrey has always had a love for the food industry. He started at Koury Banquet Center which inspired him to start culinary classes at GTCC. He then spent 5 ½ years with his mentor Steve Snyder of Marisol’s before opening Timothy’s in Asheboro, North Carolina. Currently, Tim and his wife Samantha have partnered with Mary and Will Ragsdale, owners of Perky’s Café. The transformation of a coffee/sandwich shop has taken place and now Perky’s Bistro is a full service Casual Fine Dining establishment featuring American cuisine with a French technique. We eagerly look forward to serving you and get ready for an incredible dining experience.
