Perry Township is a township in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,938 at the 2010 census.GeographyAccording to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 18.5 square miles (47.8 km²), of which 18.4 square miles (47.6 km²) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²), or 0.32%, is water.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 1,930 people, 735 households, and 566 families residing in the township. The population density was 104.9 people per square mile (40.5/km²). There were 772 housing units at an average density of 42.0/sq mi (16.2/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 99.12% White, 0.31% African American, 0.26% Asian, and 0.31% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.16% of the population.There were 735 households, out of which 30.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.7% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.9% were non-families. 19.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 2.99.
