Chartered on October 6, 1883, the Ohio Zeta chapter at The Ohio State University has established itself a prominent member of Greek Life on campus. The Phi Delt house is located on 1942 Iuka Avenue and is referred to as, “ The House on the Hill.” In addition to excelling in the classroom and campus life activities, Ohio Zeta has initiated prominent alumni such as Rex Kern ( Ohio State football legend ), Stuart Holcomb (renown college football coach), and William McPherson ( namesake of McPherson Lab on campus ).
With over 2,600 initiated members, the Ohio Zeta chapter of Phi Delta Theta is one of the oldest and most celebrated houses in the country. Our active chapter member’s are currently involved within organizations such as The Honors and Scholars Program, Fisher College of Business, Undergraduate Admissions and First Year Experience, and OSU Varsity Athletics respectfully.
Outside of the classroom, Phi Delts are also involved in intramural activities, multiple on-campus jobs, philanthropy / fundraisers / community service projects and events with sororities.
