Phillip Western, Mortgage Loan Originator / Citywide Home Loans

Though new to being a loan officer, I'm not new to the industry. I grew up around this industry; my dad was the president of a mortgage company and my uncle is one of the top producing mortgage loan originators in the United States. Before I even graduated high school, I was creating course/web content for "Mortgage Educators" a mortgage education company. I also have extensive experience managing apartment complexes and know the ins and outs of being a landlord and property manager, be it on a commercial or residential scale. Currently, I'm working as an Operations Manager as the Draper branch of Citywide Home Loans.

As a loan officer, my goal is to find the loan program that works best for the borrower in question; while I will advise, I will never project my own goal onto the borrower. If a borrower has a question that I cannot answer I will tell them as much, and then do all the research I can to find the answer to their question. Never will I simply state something to simply placate a borrower. I pride myself on my commitment to operating legally and, more specifically, ethically.

While currently only licensed in Utah, I'm looking to get my license in North Carolina and Washington. If you live in a state that I'm not licensed in, but are dead set on having me originate your loan, I'm more than happy to look into the possibility of getting licensed in your home state. Failing that, at the very least I can recommend someone who can help you.
