Philo is a village about nine miles south of Urbana in Champaign County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,466 at the 2010 census.GeographyPhilo is located at . Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.30% of the population.There were 474 households out of which 41.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.5% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.6% were non-families. 17.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.77 and the average family size was 3.13.
