Phoenix MEPS, 7th BN, US Military Entrance Processing Command

Prior to July 1983, the Phoenix MEPS, or Armed Forces Entrance and Exam Station (AFEES), was located in downtown
Phoenix. In July 1983, it was relocated to a national historical site, the Monroe School Building, at 215 North 7th Street. The tall columns supporting the front of the building and the rustic wood and glass entrance etched a lasting impression upon everyone who entered.

In June 1998, the Phoenix MEPS moved to One North First Street, in downtown Phoenix, where it operated until January 2013.

The Phoenix MEPS moved to its current location at 2800 North Central Avenue in February 2013. The 2800 North Central Avenue is a 21 story Class A office building located in the heart of the Phoenix Midtown submarket.

The Phoenix MEPS is one in a network of 65 MEPS located nationwide and in Puerto Rico.
