Phoenix Wilderness Adventures

Phoenix Wilderness Adventures was founded by my husband David and I. We have been successful in working, living and raising our family tucked away in the remote Sierra Ancha mountain range contained within the majestic Tonto National Forest. The Tonto National Forest is the nation’s fifth largest and most unique national forests because it contains both desert and coniferous (pine) life zones. Surely, one of the nations and earths finest treasures. Here, David worked as a wilderness ranger upholding ethics and caring for the land in this place of mystery, beauty, and diversity. After seven years of guiding this regions canyons and rivers for various Arizona guiding outfitters, David became the operations manager and lead canyoneering guide for the Eastern Arizona Division of Center Focus Experiences which includes an Adventure Ranch tucked away in the forest and the remote canyons of the Sierra Ancha.

As years past and our five children grew, it was undeniable that we wanted to continue creating unforgettable memories and exploring with our family and clients that have come and gone throughout the past decade. We have a true sense of satisfaction in guiding clients and we knew we were a part of something wonderful. Pura Vida! When the opportunity to continue the legacy of Center Focus Experiences came to us in the fall of 2016, we founded our very own -Phoenix Wilderness Adventures!
Phoenix Wilderness Adventures provides the same amazing high quality experiences and top rated guides that were provided in the past through Center Focus Experiences. Including its founder and friend of the family as well as David’s brother. We will all continue to specialize in the safety of the clients and the excitement had in a variety of amazing and majestic canyons, cliffs, and waterfalls. We will also continue to guide and educate clients though this uniquely diverse area we call home. All the magic of Sonoran Desert and grandeur of tall Ponderosa Pines, within 15 minutes of each other!!!
