Pick Up Modern & More

Laurence Howard opened the doors to Pick Up Modern & More – a custom-designed, highly-curated retail space – in downtown Lynn in the Spring of 2016. Prior to that, Howard sold her signature mix of antique and modern collectibles in rental spaces around the North Shore of Boston, and worked in finance. With a keen design eye and a sourcing network developed over years, Howard is passionate about connecting her customers with one-off pieces that will add texture, color and a dollop of delight to their homes.

In addition to selling, consigning and buying the decorative objects that she loves, Howard has designed her new storefront as a community gathering space. Lynn residents and design aficionados from all over gather regularly in the bright, airy space for gallery talks, coffee hours, and daily, informal conversations with Howard and her team.
