Pierson Saddle Club

SHOW SEASON: Shows are held the first Saturday of the month, October through June. Registration/Exhibitions at Noon, show starts at 2. October, May and June shows MAY be moved back to later in the day, times to be determined closer to the dates of the shows. Goat tying followed by barrel classes, then poles. Run order is: Peewees, Juniors (those who do not carry over to Open), Open.

AWARD ELIGIBILITY: There is a four (4) show - four (4) EVENT minimum requirement. This means you must run at 4 shows and run each EVENT (goats, poles, barrels) at least 4 times to be eligible for awards in the individual events. Example, if you run Open barrels 5 times but only 2 times in Open Poles, you could be eligible for awards in barrels but NOT in poles. You must be a current member and meet your work requirement at every show you attend if you want points for awards. Any questions, please ask an officer at a show.

ENTRY FEES: All Goat Tying Classes $5
Peewee Events $5 (these are ribbon classes)
Junior Events $10
Open 4-D Barrels $25
Open 3-D Poles $20
Exhibitions $3

Peewee Division (9 and under), Junior Division (10 to 15) (Age as of October 1, the start of the season)

NOTE: Peewees and Juniors may only run one horse per event.

No entry limit in open events.

Peewees and juniors receive +5 penalties for downed barrels/poles. Only one rerun for a timer malfunction.

Open-D events receive a no-time for downed barrels/poles. Reruns for timer malfunction follow NBHA Rule 16.
