Pike County General Health District

The Pike County General Health District affects the lives of almost all of the citizens of Pike County. We strive to prevent epidemics and the spread of infectious disease. The health district has many roles within the community that are required by Ohio law: Inspection Banner of food service operations, swimming pools, campgrounds, manufactured home parks, and sewage systems. The health district provides education on child development, smoking cessation, arthritis, disease management, pregnancy prevention and abstinence, and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
