Pilates Place was established in 2003 with a mission of providing the healthy "sound body, sound mind" benefits of pilates to the community - one spine at a time. From a medical background the owner RuthAnn Maddocks, RN recognized the essential role of professional instructors to teach in the studio. Clients could expect the standard of licensed or degreed health professionals with STOTT PILATES training to provide instruction. In private sessions or supervised small groups the trained eye of the instructor teaches safe postural alignment and efficient movement patterns. From a rehabilitative perspective to the prowess of the elite athlete, every"body" benefits by the stability, agility and balance gained through individualized pilates workouts.
