Piney Fire Protection Association, is a Volunteer Fire Department. This means we are a none staffed Fire Department (Our Fire Fighters are not at our stations 24-7 and have other jobs). The only staffed positions are our Office Secretary and Maintenance Person (From 9am to 5pm, unless we receive an Emergency Call during that time.) We have a membership program for out Fire District that provides you with information on who to call in the event of an Emergency (dues being one Payment of $80/yr per house, businesses will be inspected and given membership rate by the Fire Chief). Now a little about our Fire Fighters, many of us have jobs with varying hours and some of which allow us to respond to calls and don't allow. We have several people that are trained as First Responders that allows us to assist Lifenet when needed on medical calls. We provide Emergency services and some none emergency services.
