Pinocchio's Restaurant

In 1959, Joe and Alyce Pinocchio opened the first Pinocchio's Restaurant in Lakewood, CA. Coming from an Italian and Armenian background, the two combined pop's business skills with mom's secret recipes and developed the best meatballs and sauce around.

Coming from a 2nd generation of restaurant owners, Alyce developed her own flare for cooking while raising five children. Those special techniques and recipes have become family tradition and are carried on today in the newest of family restaurants in Merced.

Pinocchio Restaurants in Sonora (Joe, Peggy and family), Sparks and Reno, NV (Cousin Johnny and family) and now back in Merced (Steve, Dina and family) are ready to serve up scrumptious Italian meals for you.

Momma Alyce lived her life for family and everything was centered around food.....good food. Food WAS the event.....and still is!
