Pizza e Vino opened on Lake Rancho Santa Margarita in 2008 and became Orange County’s first restaurant to be certified as a true Neapolitan pizzeria by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana of Naples, Italy.
Owner Steve Dickus began working in the restaurant industry as a dishwasher at age 14, working up to server and eventually manager before starting his own health care company in his mid-20s. He returned to restaurants 20 years later to open Pizza e Vino after discovering the allure of wood-burning ovens.
Our menu celebrates Neapolitan tradition and fine Italian dining—pizzas made with fresh mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes; an array of bistro dishes including Wild Gulf Shrimp Creole, Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio and Fire Roasted Artichokes; and a wine list with more than 25 selections all stored at proper temperature in our Cruvinet wine preservation system.
