Salon Platinum is owned & operated by LaVonda Vance-Wells. The Salon opened in Jan 2008, In 2009 the Hyden City Chamber of Commerce awarded it The New Business of the Year Award!
LaVonda is a former Hair Educator. She has attended numerous Seminars, and training Expos all over the nation! Receiving one on one training from award winning platform artists, with Sexy Hair Concepts!
She continues her training, and education by traveling to Hair Shows, and training Expos, as well as Webinars! She is passionate about her job with the main goal of making all services available at affordable prices. She wants ALL clients to leave feeling BEAUTIFUL!!! Because when we look good we feel good!!
The hours are flexible, and scheduling is done by appointment only, and if she is already in the shop walk-ins are welcome to stop in, she will work you in if @ all possible!
Salon Platinum offers, the latest styles, color and highlighting techniques, as well as traditional methods for those who prefer them! We offer perms we do Beach wave perms, traditional perms, as well as Spiral perms!
We also offer high gloss hair treatments, these make your hair look like glass, highly recommended for those who want Shiny, Healthy looking hair! We do Keratin treatments, Malibu treatments for those of you who want chlorine, or sulfur/iron removed from the hair, we do waxing, acrylic nails, manicures, pedicures, Eyelash extensions, professional make up application, spray tanning & much more!!!
